B U F C. Season review 2017. The moments that made the season:

Best match:
Definitely our come from behind 4-3 win against Green Gully.

We hit the lead early through a powerful Michael Formosa effort, then big Shaun got sent off in unorthodox fashion. Gully came back with 2 goals before the break to lead 2-1.

Stuart Hudson equalised after the break to make it 2-2, then I scored an elegant 20 yard chip, caressing the ball into the top right corner that would even make loins of the great Diego tingle, giving us back the lead at 3-2. Brian Paterson scored the winner, poaching a ball on the 5 yard box to give us a 4-2 lead. Gully scored late to make it 4-3, but we held on to win 4-3.

Best goal: Brian Patterson goal in the same game.Typical Fox in the box goal, the way he took his first touch with poise, and nonchalantly stroked the ball past the keeper inside the far upright was pure class. I had to check our team sheet after the game to make sure that it wasn't Gary Liniker or Kenny Dalgish on the park.

Unsung hero: Brian Patterson with the glucose snakes he distributes at half time, I think he's got shares in Allen's...Hopefully nobody is a diabetic in our team.

Funniest moment: Big Shauny being given a straight red for adjusting his shorts and perhaps revealing a little too much skin. Definitely the weirdest decision and funniest moment of the season!

Best quote: "Boys, if we hold out and don't let them score and we score more goals then them, we win the game." ~ Brian Patterson (in a watered down Glaswegian accent)

Lesson learnt: The older men get, the more childish we act.
